Welcoming delectable tastes from the islands... Haiti

Eat Real NYC also celebrates United Nations Day, so we welcome a taste of the islands.
“There is no spectacle on earth more appealing than that of a beautiful woman in the act of cooking dinner for someone she loves.” wrote Thomas Wolfe. Wolfe may have been speaking about Elle Philippe who balances warmth, elegance and ease as she cooks for her guests," writes a reporter about the recently discovered magic of the Haitian-born chef. For Eat Real NYC, Elle tells us she will make "my specialty sandwich made with Haitian Grio, Haitian Beignets and my special ice tea and sample of my tapenades, ( pesto, sun dried tomatoes, olive and cilantro)."
Welcome, Elle! Find her here!
